That’s right folks, this weekend is PlayStation Experience Weekend and we are all expecting it to be a good show. Obviously there will be plenty to see and play if you are lucky enough to be at the event. I sadly won’t be, like many of you, so here are a few things I want to see Sony announce at their Keynote speech.

1. First of all I’m expecting to see a fuller Demo of The Last Guardian with a solid release date that they are committed to as opposed to the current vagueness we have now.

If they don’t do that and show a reasonably large chunk of the game that actually explains what it is supposed to be about; I will struggle to believe the game will come out next year, or ever in fact.

2. I think we need a big AAA 1st party game to be announced for release next year. 2015 was fairly light on that front and Sony can’t afford to seem like they are slacking when Microsoft have made a big noise about the 1st Party line up they have on offer this year.

Sony have a lot of Studios all of whom are supposed to be developing titles for PS4, it’s time they repaid the faith people have shown in them by buying 30.2 Million Consoles since PS4 launched 2 years ago.

3. Lastly, but by no means least, I want to see more Indie titles from smaller Devs given the spotlight in the same way that Hello Games, with No Man’s Sky, or The Chinese Room, with Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture, have been.

Sony made a massive push to pull as many Indie Developers into their camp as they could in the run up to PS4’s launch, clearly learning from the mistakes of the PS3 era.

With Sony Santa Monica having a team dedicated to helping get these games onto PS4 and Vita, we have seen some fantastic success stories. Some of my favourite games of the last 2 years have been brought to the console in this way.

Sony have proved that there is room enough for all games, Indie or AAA, 1st or 3rd Party, all are welcome on PS4 and Vita and I want them to continue beating that drum at PSX.

So that’s my thoughts on what I would like to see at PSX this weekend. What would you like to see? Let me know in the comments, on Twitter or Facebook.

I also have a big announcement!
