Space Warfare

Earlier today Activision and developer Infinity Ward revealed the single player campaign for the thirteenth primary instalment in the Call of Duty franchise.

Infinite Warfare will follow Captain Reyes, the pilot of one of Earth’s last remaining warships; The Retribution. Reyes will lead the remnants of coalition armies against an ultimate foe, being played by Kit Harrington.

Players will go on a journey across the entire solar system, fighting on different planets and moons. Not only will there be ground based combat but players will be able to take to the skies, or space more accurately, allowing for dogfights in zero-G conditions.

Update: Today on a live stream it was revealed that Infinite Warfare will include optional side missions and a “deep immersive narrative”. Furthermore, as the Captain of your own carrier you’ll be able to choose in which order you’ll play campaign missions as briefly shown in the trailer below. Game of Thrones star Kit Harrington was also confirmed to be playing a Villian in this newest entry.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be arriving November 4th on Xbox One, Ps4 and PC. All DLC will come to PS4 first.
