Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remaster DOES Require Infinite Warfare Disc

Rumour Confirmed

Back in May of this year, we reported on information from an inside source that stated you wouldn’t be able to play the Call of Duty 4 Remaster without having the Infinite Warfare disc in your system and now that rumour has been substantiated.

The news was released via the official Call of Duty 4 Remaster website in a sub-section on the home page.

With the rumour finally confirmed it now looks as though (at least for now) that in order to play the upcoming remaster you’ll have to buy the £80 Legacy Edition which comes with the fan favourite Call of Duty 4. There’ll be no Ebay code buying in the foreseeable future.

Despite the backlash we received for reporting the rumour back in May, it still saddens us that the remaster is being hidden behind a game that most fans don’t want. What do you think?
