6 Rows Back is a podcast all about Movies; Reviews, news and all the general chit chat you could ask for. The show is hosted by the fantastic duo Matt & Oliver; who marshal the listener through each episode with great skill and with plenty of amusement along the way.

Unlike most of the podcasts I listen to, this one has a nice, laid-back tone. There’s no shouting, our hosts aren’t in a rush and they hardly ever interrupt one another. It is all very calm; I like that. It sets 6 Rows Back apart from many other podcasts, some of which can get pretty rowdy.

Don’t mistake this calm nature for a lack of enthusiasm or love for the topic on the part of our hosts; that would be a mistake. Matt and Oliver clearly love Movies as an entertainment medium with their knowledgeable chats showcasing this clearly. Plus they make a podcast about it which is showing real commitment!

Overall the quality of the podcast is good, the voices are clear, there’s no clipping, pops, bangs or echo. The only thing letting the quality down is the occasional appearance of a low level hum. It is low level and you’ll likely not even notice it if you are on the bus while listening on a commute but I felt I should mention it. In fact, you probably didn’t notice it and will now hate me for pointing it out (sorry about that).

So, a laid-back podcast full of Movie chat, hosted by a lovely duo. Sound good? It should! Check it out for yourself at the links below.
