Avenger: Infinity War Review (No Spoilers)

A culmination of 10 years!

Avenger Infinity War is probably the most anticipated film for a lot of movie fans, it’s directed by the Russo brothers who directed Winter Solider and Civil War, and stars pretty much everyone in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The plot for Infinity War is straightforward, you got the mad Titan himself Thanos who’s on a quest to assemble all the Infinity Stones, so he can bring balance to the universe; unfortunately, in his opinion the only way to bring about a balanced universe is by wiping out half the life in the universe.

Now clearly the concept of having half the life in the universe wiped out does not sit well with the Avengers, or with the Guardians of the Galaxy or any of our other MCU heroes and they have to band together to stop Thanos before he can succeed.

This film packs emotional punch that has been ten years in the making and boy does it absolutely deliver, this film is an incredible journey that takes you all around the galaxy with some fantastic visuals, non-stop action even in the quieter scenes and a gut-wrenching story.

The stakes couldn’t be higher here and Thanos is fully realized, he’s the most important character in this movie, this really is his movie. Beyond that Thanos is without question the best villain the MCU has ever had.

Everyone gets a chance to shine which says something incredible about the Russo brothers as filmmakers and that ending will break you.

This really does feel like a worthy culmination of all the MCU movies we’ve seen thus far, it’s the history of the characters, the relationships they have with each other, what they stand for, it all comes together and lets the movie just knock the wind out of you.

The Final Verdict

Should you go watch Avenger: Infinity War? OH GOD YES

Why? Because this is a culmination of 10 years of work that pays off big time
