Ben and Alex this week have a little bit of a focus on spooky games as Halloween occurred around the time of recording, oh yeah and Ben’s birthday.

Ben kicks off the podcast on a lighter note discussing Super Meat Boy and Broken Age, two of the Playstation Plus games from October.

Alex begins the spooky talk by delving deeper into Soma, how it compares to similar atmosphere heavy games and how it keeps him interested in playing. Ben has been playing Betrayer, a first person stealth horror, and Downwell, a 2D vertical action platformer, both of which make use of a limited black, white and red colour palette.

The beers this week, which get them a little hammered, are Ska Brewing Modus Hoperandi IPA, The Kernal Double Mosaic IPA & Arbour Rocketman American IPA.

Ben is like a fine wine, he spends far to much time in cellars. He deliberately developed a stutter and a slur and walks with a limp to conceal his raging alcohol problem. Once beat up a fish for looking at him funny. Ben hosts the Tanked up podcast, but we are pretty sure he isn't aware of that.
