Microsoft has revealed the sequel to Undead Lab’s State of Decay at their E3 press conference.

The hit third-person zombie survival game released to positive critical acclaim back in 2013 and tasked players with becoming a leader among an onslaught of problems, such as diminishing survival resources, group trust and morale, zombie extermination, base defense, and keeping people alive. The game also combined elements of shooters, stealth, role-playing and strategy games and the game challenged players to survive by exploring, scavenging, and fighting the undead.

3 years on, State of Decay is back and looking beautiful, the trailer hints at multiplayer with the tagline ‘Nobody survives alone’ but does not specify if it has it or not. conseidering it was the most requested feature of the original it’s very possible.

State of Decay 2 has no release date yet but will be available on Xbox One and Windows 10
