Pacific Rim 2 Finally has a new release date!

The much-anticipated sequel to 2013’s monsters vs robots spectacle film finally has a new solid release date. Today Universal and Legendary announced that the sequel is set to smash into theatres February 23rd  2018!

The sequel has suffered many delays and even saw Guillermo Del Toro stepping down as director and Daredevil season 1 show runner Steven S DeKnight making his directorial debut in his place. Not only did the directors change but cast we expected may not be returning as John Boyega is now the leading man portraying the son of Idris Elba’s character from the first film.
