Making A Podcast – Out of the X Fire

when the opportunity presented itself to take part in one and then the other I couldn't turn it down.

As a part of the Out of Lives network (born from the DuckHunters community group), this week’s post will centre on the creation of the ‘Out of the X Fire’ podcast and the people involved in making it!

As a regular reader of blogs and an avid listener of podcasts in my own time, when the opportunity presented itself to take part in one and then the other I couldn’t turn it down.

As the Out Of Lives family continues to grow, discussions were underway as to ways the brand could expand and appeal to more people. Bearing in mind Out of Lives was born out of a community group; it was felt that there needed to be a podcast for each group in the community. A few hours of discussion later Adam, Mete, Paul and Lee had all signed on the dotted line; and with the blessing of our fearless leader Ross the work began!

To say that it was all plain sailing would be an understatement! Testing was undertaken for around three weeks prior to the release of the first podcast on 16th December, during which time microphones failed to arrive, audio didn’t record and Lee was abducted by the clandestine group working on behalf of the world’s most evil multi-billion corporation- British Telecommunications.

So with the boring stuff out of the way, let’s find out a little bit more about the voices you will be hearing on a weekly basis!

Mete Redif, Mete Calls himself a critic, which is a lot nicer than what we call him. Wasn't happy to discover a site using a similar name to his articles.
