Rob Gronkowsi is known for his trademark spike celebration on the field as well as his partying off it and he had reason to celebrate yet again as it was revealed on Sport Center that he would get the distinction of being on the cover of Madden NFL 17.


Gronk, who was runner up to be on the cover of last years Madden, is the first ever tight end to be given the illustrious honour however the cover athlete has not always had the best of times and many have fell victim to the Madden curse. Let’s hope that Gronkowsi, who has had issues with injuries before, manages to avoid any of its ill effects.

Xbox One players can play the game first via EA Access before the games release on August 23rd.

    Looking at the advert its a reskinned madden 16 with a team roster update.

      Hardly anything to with at this point, but reskinned and roster update could be said for a lot of games, especially sporting ones. I prefer to be a little more open minded so I’ll await more news before making judgement!
