Playstation Plus Free Games Announced

A slamdunk for fans?

PlayStation Plus is heating up for June with a sizzling line up for PS4. NBA 2K16 slams into your monthly games, alongside mysterious adventure Gone Home.

NBA 2K16 is a basketball simulation video game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. NBA 2K16 simulates the experience of the NBA. Players play NBA games with any real life or custom team, and can customize many aspects, such as camera angles, the presentation of players, the sound levels, and the level of realism. Like other NBA 2K games, NBA 2K16 is marketed as being as realistic as the actual NBA, with all the things featured in NBA games, such as commentary, pre-game shows, halftime shows, post-game shows, replays, interviews, crowds, and real player movement, among many other things.

Gone Home is a first-person adventure exploration video game developed and published by The Fullbright Company. The player takes the role of Kaitlin in the first-person view, who can view objects in the game using their controller. There are no set goals in the game; however, the game encourages and rewards the player when they explore new areas of the house and search for new messages. Much of the interactivity rests upon looking at objects within the house. The player finds objects which open other areas of the house that contain additional objects to be looked at.

Additionally PS3 and Vita will be getting the following games.

  • Echochrome (PS3)
  • Siren: Blood Curse (Episodes 1-12) (PS3)
  • God of War: Chains of Olympus (PSP/PS Vita)
  • Little Deviants (PS Vita)

All games will be available to download from Tuesday June 7th.
