The Jackal Segments Are NOT On Rails

In case it wasn’t clear from the trailer played at last nights Sony E3 Event, the Jackal flight segments in the new Call of Duty : Infinite Warfare are NOT on rails.

This Jackal Segment is set above Earth

We are able to confirm that the player will get full control of their Jackal similar to a regular flight simulator, thus adding a new type of gameplay to the Call Of Duty franchise. This is a departure for the series as previously players were tied to a scripted path during vehicle missions, like the AC-130 or Hind Helicopter, and had very little freedom of movement outside of the on rails sections.
