Star Trek Actor Anton Yelchin Dies In Accident.

Anton Yelchin, the actor, best known for playing Chekov in the most recent series of Star Trek movies, has passed away at the age of 27.

It is being reported that the sudden loss of the young actor is due to a fatal traffic collision which took place early in the morning on Sunday in San Ferdinando, California. The sudden and tragic news was confirmed by Yelchin’s publicist later on the same day.

Yelchin was born in Russia, he was an only child and both his parents were professional figure skaters, they moved to the USA early in his life. He was most well known for his role in the recent Star Trek movies, he was also in many other films, including roles in Alpha Dog, Terminator salvation and most recently Green Room. Yelchin will be seen on our screens in Star Trek: Beyond in the coming months.
