It appears a Reddit user somehow got his hands on a very early build of Halo Wars 2. According to the Reddit user after trying to play DC Online Universe on the Xbox One it popped up in his ‘Game and Apps’ section. The game itself is currently code-named Hogan and the lucky/unlucky Reddit user has no idea how it appeared in his games library. Later after posting the find to Reddit he updated everyone with this,
“Booted it up. It showed a halo-esque picture. Then the creative assembly logo. I think it’s some form of debug build of Halo Wars 2? I’ll upload a clip in a few minutes.”
A few minutes later he uploaded this short video which does indeed show some sort of debug interface.
As of now the video is still up and even though it doesn’t really show much it must get fans of the Halo Wars series excited. We’ll keep you updated with any more developments.
