Modern Warfare Remaster Will Require Infinite Warfare Disc.

Bad news Call of Duty fans, according to sources you will need an Infinite Warfare disc in your system in order to play the Call of Duty 4 Remastered. If this rumour is indeed true that means many peoples plans to buy the game just to sell it on, after they have got their Modern Warfare download, have just been ruined.
Fresh off hearing this rumour we decided to do a bit of digging ourselves and when we looked on Activision’s official website we noticed this in the support section.
You could translate the answer as meaning you can’t get Modern Warfare without owning Infinite Warfare however the FAQ clearly says ‘play’.
It’s worrying times for Activision, especially after the negative reaction they got off the back of the Infinite Warfare trailer release and the issues with supply drops in Black Ops 3. Lets hope this is indeed just speculation. We will keep you updated.
It’s nothing more than an admission that they know COD:IF can’t stand on its own.

This is just fucking stupid. How are you going to handcuff a remastered classic to a new game that nobody wants. I don’t mean to be a hater, but shit like this is really why I don’t buy Call of Duty games anymore. The fact is, Activision NEVER listens to their fans. Nobody wants a futuristic Call of Duty. Nobody who played classics like COD2 and COD4 wants a shitty ripoff sci-fi shooter with Call of Duty stamped on the front. Call of Duty was a WW2 game to begin with. They made the right move with Modern Warfare and the very first Black Ops. After Black Ops 2 started introducing futuristic shit, I was turned off of Call of Duty. If they returned the series to it’s former glory with a gritty, explosive, deep story telling WW1 or WW2 setting, I would give them my money. My dumb ass will probably still buy this just for COD4:Remastered. Doesn’t mean I’m happy about it.
You can make choices that will affect the results of the decades into the future within the whole world of
the game and you may rise to power from as being a destitute refugee all the way to
learning to be a most respected champion with the entire realm and land.
One hit will kill just about anyone and set them on fire.

I think it means you have to buy infinite warfare to be able to play the game meaning to get the download and play, you must purchase infinite warfar
Maybe they are afraid that MW Remastered get more sales than the Infinite Warfare…Hey, You never know!
