"Pillars" has an emphasis on using multiple walls to your advantage

Psyonix has revealed a new arena for Rocket League called Pillars that will release in June.

It will appear under the Rocket Labs playlist, and from the screenshots released, it looks like it will require teams to employ a different style of play to succeed.

The neon style is reminiscent of old school VR

The arena is separated, as the name suggests, by two gigantic pillars, which creates three lanes running along the pitch. Now defending will become all the more difficult as the ball could fly down any of the lanes, and with more wall space, drivers will have to keep an eye up higher for incoming opponents.

Pillars will launch with the June update for players on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, all of whom can now play together.
