Obsidian’s Tyranny Trailer

Sometimes, evil wins

At the E3 PC Gamer Press Conference, Obsidian released the latest trailer for their new RPG Tyranny.

Featuring a similar style and top down gameplay similar to previous success Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny focuses on a world where evil did indeed win. The forces of evil, led by Kyros the Overlord, have won and his merciless armies dominate the face of the world.

The player is tasked with interacting within the population as an Officer within Kyros’ forces, being able to incite fear as one of Kyros’ oppressor’s or as it teased ‘use the banner to institute your own (law)’.

Tyranny boasts a branching narrative with a unique story in an original setting and set to come out 2016.
