The game is set to run at 120Hz with unlocked framerates, something that will please the PC crowd. With this new entry into the series there will be a new roster of characters, with some drawing inspiration from older Quake heroes, and others being created especially for this incarnation of the series.

While no gameplay was shown, more details will be available at this years Quakecon, which is taking place 4th-7th of August.
