Former Burnout Alumni Working On New “Driving Game”

Possible spiritual successor to Burnout?

Alex Ward, the former Director of the Burnout franchise, has announced on twitter he is working on a new “driving game”.

No further details were revealed in the tweet but this news should get fans of the Burnout series excited. Especially since fellow former Criterion Games dev Fiona Sperry is also a part of Alex’s new development studio Three Fields Entertainment.

The indie studio recently released Dangerous Golf, which you can tell is heavily inspired by the destruction heavy Burnout series, and although this new game wouldn’t be allowed to use the Burnout name, as EA still owns it, it certainly could borrow heavily from it.

Stay tuned for any further news.
